    Hey guys,

My 1520 got it's funds reserved the day I bought it...then removed...then charged when it was shipped and I checked today and all my money is back again? It's been 3 days since they shipped it (got it yesterday).

How many times are they going to reserve the funds, remove it, take the money, then remove it again?

    Shhhh... don't tell them. ;)

I believe the initial hold funds, then unhold is correct behavior - the test your credit then put it back.

Correct. An authorization is performed to verify you have sufficient funds before they actually charge you.

No...they already DID charge me and it disappeared again. I saw it on my statement. They did the authorization the day I bought it!

They never took any money out of my bank account for the backpack I ordered, so I got a $60 backpack for...$40 heh.

No. They put a hold on the funds for 2 days, but never acquired them. Your card will be charged when the system ships.

Not unless they use a time machine as it says he got the system yesterday. :)

Some people have all the luck: if it were me, I'd never get the machine but be charged for it twice. :D

Wait a couple business days. If still no charge, give em a ring.

No you guys are not getting it. They put the funds on hold. I saw them. Then I was charged when my laptop shipped. Then I checked 3 days ago and the money was back in my account. Checked again today and still no charge.

I've had my laptop for 3 days now, so it's been 5 days since it was shipped and I was charged.

"Bank makes error in your favor, collect $200"

Haha...maybe you should call Dell support and complain that they forgot to charge you and try to get a free bag out of it as compensation. There are certainly plenty of people on here trying to collect for much lelss ;)

and why exactly would I call them and say they forgot to charge me?
    LOL!

I'll probably get charged in the next few days. I don't think they would make a mistake that big.

Dont get too happy ive had this sort of stuff happen to me. The biggest discrepancies happen if the charge happened over the weekend.

Not too much to worry about though they'll come for their money. Just make sure you dont get happy and spend it.

I've had purchases that took 2 weeks to show up correctly on my statement before.
