    Hello...

I am in a bit of a jam, my wife took our new DELL Inspiron 9400 on a trip
out of the country and after one use, it now will not reboot to windows
or to safemode. We even tried a reinstall from the OS restore CD but it
hangs after Windows copies the files needed for install and does the first
reboot. Any ideas? man I sure could use some help here since DELLIndian
support couldn't possibly suck any more than it does. I would really love
some screen shots of the BIOS.

    David

Maybe the x-ray machine did something to it?

I have had other laptops go under the x ray before without any issues and so did this one through the first 2 check points...well, she removed the hdd and reinserted it, now windows loads but no drivers for anything and none of the CD's that came with it are drivers cd's, one problem traded for another.

You should also reseat the memory, as it may have been jarred loose during the trip.

You can download all of the drivers you need from the Dell support site.
