It seems now that the bluetooth module doesn't exist and it will take another week for them to get it in...and only THEN can i re-order it...and it also means pushing back my shipping date by another month!!!!

I think I've had it... going to purchase a Macbook Pro...slightly bigger, but at least its got a lot of screen real-estate...

Typically order that are on hold for a while get cancelled and placed several times...I would know :) from some experiences almost two years ago.

Anyway, before you make any difficult decisions wait a few days to make sure Dell does not re-do your order (thus forcing you into a two notebook situation) and to really think about it. Dell is having a difficult time filling demand, as the new notebooks are a hit.

if you do end up reordering again you SHOULD get put into a priority line, at worst keep complaining.

i just reordered mine yesterday, the slated arrival date is 09/05/07 but he dell rep told me it should arrive mid-end august as stated in my previous order... hope he's right =)

I heard Canadian bacon is good for you.

... but it sounds like you are going through HELL! You should really really complain or email Michael Dell.

    Well, Same here,

Place my order for Inspiron 1520 July 1st, was expected July 18th, called july 18th, was told of back order delay, needed to wait until the 23rd for shipping (Today), tried website this morning, could not access my order, so I called, was told the system cancelled my order???

I was told I needed to order again???

Talking to Rep and asked when was dilevery slated to happen was told 7 to 10 days for assembly and another 10 to 15 days for the back order?

So under my calculations that would be around septembre 1st.

please don't forget my original order was placed July 1st.

I think there should be a warning for Inspiron purchasers that there is a BO.

What gets my goat, is that they didn't even offer any alternatives, maybe costing a bit more, but no nothing.

I guess I do need to puchase from another company that wants my business.

p.s. any suggestions more than welcome.
