I am new to the program and was wondering what are the setting people with the e1505 - T7200, X1400, 5400 rpm hdd to obtain maximum battery life with a 6 cell ? I have 1 GB ram but that probably does not have anything to do with the NHC.

I will be doing the following when unplug: internet and some photoshop/flash/multimedia fusion. I do not need the highest performance with the programs but would like them use able. If not then just good old internet is fine. Thanks.

Unfortunately Intel locked the lowest multiplier @ .95 volts with the Core series of chips. This means that you cannot "underclock" while unplugged effectively for maximum battery life.

More effective things: make sure that the x1400 is clocked down using ATI's "powerplay" feature, turn the screen down as much as you can stand, turn wireless/BT off when you don't need them.

That suck... Oh well, thanks for the info on the power play. I will try that out later.

Also, keep in mind that PowerPlay is current the best known solution for saving power on the graphics card.
