im currently using the microsoft bluetooth 5000 mouse and id like to uninstall it so i can use a touchpad function (disable touchpad when USB mouse is connected) correctly. how do i uninstall it on my m1530 with windows xp installed?

ive decided to use back my corded mouse instead of the bluetooth mouse and that is why i need help uninstalling the bluetooth mouse. when i go to the mouse control panel i can still see my bluetooth mouse appearing so how can i uninstall it?

Assuming you also installed Microsoft Intellipoint software, you may want to uninstall this first (add/remove programs), if your corded mouse is non-microsoft. Then, click on your bluetooth icon in the system tray, find that mouse in "devices", and remove.

    Reboot.
