Hi I got this laptop from a friend as they were not able to get past the bios lock. It doesn't load into an operating system. I thought changing the bios battery would do it but I have no idea why I can't get the laptop open. I took all necessary screws out I think but I can't seem to pry it apart. I am more used to working on desktops than laptops and bios battery change is usually a simple thing. Anyone suggest what I can do?

Gotta ask a question first. Why doesn't your friend know the password to get past the BIOS lock? Generally, a BIOS password is set to prevent a thief from booting a stolen laptop.
