    Hello everyone who reads this....

I'm looking at uping the Ram in my laptop and was wondering how it go about doing it. I have 512 right now thinking its 2x256 but not sure.

Question is do I have 2 slots in my 6000D or would it only be one ?
Also what type of ram would I have to get ie. PC2700 or PC3200 ?

    Thank you for you help.

Its a simple upgrade on the bottom of your laptop there is a cover with two tiny screws remove them and the cover and theres the ram. I believe you have DDR2 533- PC4200 check out newegg they have some good prices.

    you have 2 slots.

check your order paperwork for whether you have 1x512 or 2x256

Just take a small screwdriver and remove the panel on the bottom of the laptop. Then you can see what you have installed. Or, run cpu-z and see if the memory is running dual channel mode. If it is then you have 2x256; if not you have 1x512.
