I am typing this on my 2018 iPad. I am watching windows 10 pro install on her new ssd. Can’t wait to get the updates done and do a test. I got 3:57 to useable computer on the boot up using the slow as ass Seagate drive. We will see what happens when the ssd is all running top notch.

Got the new drive installed and it made a HUGE difference to the speed of the machine. Thank god. After the updates are done, I will see what the boot times are to useable computer. I am very impressed with the Kingston drive so far.

When I moved to the SSD in my computer I had an issue with updating to 1803, the same thing happend to hers. An overnight repair fixed the issue and it's now loading it as we speak. Then on to Oct update.

OK. All updated to October Update. I did not expect this dramatic of a change in a device. All I can say is HOLY! It went from taking 3:59 to go from power button push to entering our pin to useable computer. After the SSD install, it's 18.9 seconds!!!!!!! Seriously? These cheap SSDs are GREAT! They still have a good name behind them in Kingston, and not some off brand. I cannot wait to get mine installed now. I have an intel 320 in mine, but I think even the new Kingston will make a difference in speed!

Mine showed up today. It’s being installed tomorrow morning and should be completed by mid afternoon.
