Hi ya.. This might be a totally retarded q, but can I change the graphic card on my laptop? HMmm? Yeah.. I ordered one with the stock intel 3100 because It saved me a hundred bucks.. But will I be able to update it? Eh? Any help is much appreciated..

Many threads have been posted about this, and the simple answer is no. check the graphics and gaming section for more info, however if you bought the asus c90s then you're in luck...
-
Aw.. No I got a 1420... Bummer.
-
if you're going to do any gaming then you can basically kiss high settings goodbye, and should probably cancel ur order if it hasnt arrived yet and put the better one in.
-
But is it possible to do it later with a dell? HMHMMM. No? Sucks. :]
-
NO you can upgrade integrated gfx, period.
Youll have to replace the motherboard + get a new discrete gfx card. Both of which will void warranty if done by yourself and cost close to ½ the notebook price. -
in short, no... do a search on upgrading graphic card, i remember theres a thread about the few dell systems which CAN have their graphic card upgraded
-
Hey. Do I have to cancel the order? Or can I just call and modify it? Maybe?
-
You need to cancel...
-
...and order one with a dedicated card.

Metamorphical Good computer user
You can't upgrade your graphics card. Please see Dreamer's thread in the graphics forum. I think its link in the read before posting sticky in that forum. I would simply cancel and reorder.
