    Hello there,

i am running my Studio 1735 - Intel T8100, Intel 5300 Wifi,, ATI HD 3650 - with drivers provided by Windows 7 / Windows Update.

Can i enhance performance by updating with new "original"drivers from manufacterers? Some say that i should use Dell's drivers only, because they are adjusted for my machine. Is that right?
Anyway, there are only old Vista drivers on Dell's Support page for my Studio.

Can / should i use drivers from Intel for my Chipset and ATI's for my HD3650 GPU?

    Cheers
    Daniel

For the GPU, you might actually see noticeable performance gains from using modded or non-Dell drivers, but for everything else, it won't make much of a difference. In most cases, there's no reason non-Dell drivers shouldn't work, though.
