    I spent 4 hours on the phone to Dell this week, as I kept getting a message on my Inspiron 1501 that it did not recognise the battery. the girl updated BIOS plus there were connection problems. Now if I connect my camera Panasonic Lumex, the computer does not recognise it. any help is much appreciated! :confused:

    So... does it recognize the battery now? What about other USB devices (storage devices and peripherals)?
