    From what I have read, it is not possible. It is soldered :(

    its a different motherboard, it doesnt even have a connector for the 7400

    Actually. its doesnt void your warranty. Dell wont do anything about the New CPU if it dies, they rest of the computer is still under warranty. I had to call dell my self and get it from the horses mouth. So hang onto your old cpu cause if you have to send it back in, you need to put the old CPU back in..
