    I just ordered an inspiron 6000 with 512mb of ram i was wondering if getting another 512mb would see a dramatic increase in performance. I hate load times! ALso where is the best place to get the upgrade????????

    if u ordered wit 1 dimm...then u could get another 512 MB ram...but if u ordered wit 2 dimm...then u g2 take both the 256 MB RAM chips in ur laptop out and put in 2 512 MB ram chips 2 make it 1 GB...or u could jus take out 1 256 MB ram and insert a 1 GB ram by transcend at newegg.com...at a pretty good price as well
