What is a better upgrade going from a 2.0ghz t7300 to a t7500 2.2ghz and having a 128mb 8400m gs or upgrade for 8400m gs to a 8600m gt and stay with 2.0ghz t7300 because im thinking about canceling my 1420 and getting a 1520

8600GT by far, you'd be stupid to take the processor upgrade over the GPU...

You wouldn't be able to tell the difference between the T7300 and T7500, while the difference between the 8400GS and 8600GT is over DOUBLE ;)

8600 will whoop the 8400 (around 2x faster), while the T7500 will be only 10% faster

If you're going to game reasonably, then I would go with the 8600M GT. They're quite a lot better in that department apparently. Otherwise, I would stick with the 1420, since that video card is OK for occasional gaming, and the laptop itself is reasonably lighter.

Take the GPU. You can always upgrade the processor later yourself.
