    Hey guys! :)

I just ordered a Dell Inspiron 17R laptop from Dell Outlet. I got a decent deal but I'd like to upgrade the RAM. It currently has 4GB and the Dell website says it goes up to 6GB. I'm unsure if that's because the motherboard can't handle anything past 6GB or if 6GB is just all Dell upgrade to.

    So anyway... I ordered an 8GB Corsair kit (2 x 4GB):

    Corsair CMSO8GX3M2A1333C9 8GB (2 x 4GB) Dual Channel Kits DDR3 Notebook Memory, PC3-10600 1333MHz, 204-pin, Non-ECC, Unbuffered.

Do you guys think it'll run OK? Will I actually get 8GB running in an Inspiron 17R, or will it just be read as 6GB?
