Is this doable? Is it hard to do or not? As in is it easily accesible like the RAM? Does it void the warranty?

    Thanks!

It's fairly easy to do...here is the instructions:
    http://support.dell.com/support/edocs/systems/ins9300/sm/sullivai.htm#wp1123687

Its located under the PC Card slot, and two screws will have to be removed on the bottom. It doesn't void your warranty. One thing you will want to do if you decide to switch out your HD, call Dell and request the OS and Drivers CDs (3 in total). They will send them to you free of charge, and you should receive them with in 2-3 business days.
    Hope this helps,
    ~SG~
