So I'm getting my wireless card Dell 1390 replaced on my laptop (due to connection problems). I think I'll upgrade to one of the following:

    Intel Next-Gen Wireless-N or

    Intel PRO/Wireless 3945 Internal Wireless

Any thoughts about which one is better? (the next gen card costs $10 more but is it better?)

If you use the next generation card with a normal router (A/B/G), then it will most likely perform the same as the Intel one. But, in the future, if you decide to purchase a .n router, then that particular card will be better. For $10, I would go with the new generation card.

Where are you purchasing the Intel Next-Gen wireless card from? I'm looking at upgrading mine too.
