    Hey guys..
So I have 2 days to decide whether I want the CompleteCare for my system which I've just bought or not. I have one question though.. Lets say my laptop breaks or I spill coffee all over it or whatever, will they be kind enough to send a better laptop as a replacement? Has that ever happened?

You have a Studio 1555...you would mostly get a Replacement Studio 1555 as a replacement...Unless, they were no longer making that Model.
(they may try to fix, first).

You would be upgraded to different parts/etc..if they were no longer making those... ;)

Exactly. If your system is irreversibly damaged, they will replace it with a completely identical system as long as they have parts. Only when they run out of identical parts will they give you anything upgraded. For example, some owners of the outdated XPS M1730 have had their systems replaced with the M17X since Dell simply doesn't have any more parts for the M1730.
