it should be easy but it wouldnt be a upgrade it would be a clean install deleting everything (which also means youll have to buy the full version) all you have to do is enter your product key on the support and downloads dell site and then change the os to xp for the xp drivers

NO... XP Is definatly Better then Vista. And i have a clean coppy of xp so thats not a problem. I am refering to more of the drivers for the Video card and other things. Have XP versions been released yet?

Unless Dell offers XP as an option, don't expect them to release any XP drivers. If you want to know about drivers, visit support.dell.com and check the 1420 section.

LOL....thats a downgrade. Do some learning....Vista is so much better except in driver performance for games, and those will improve.

XP is great...compared to Win98....LOL. And know I have it on 4 PC's in this house....looking forward to my Son's 1520 w/Vista Premium.

I don't see why they wouldn't have it for XP, seems how its been out for years. I personally think that Vista is much better than XP, but I'm no longer a gamer so I don't have to deal with that aspect of it all.

Do some learning?... Youre a Loose.

Just because its new doesnt meen its good.

XP is much more reliable and better thought out then Vista. All Vista is Eye Candy. " Ohh It looks nice" I dont care about that i dont need my OS using 1/2 of my memmory
