Hi, Ive just recieved my Vostro 1500, at last, and it worked the first time in booting up. But then it froze and i had to manually turn it off. Ive loaded it back up again and its just goes black after the windows loading bar. Ive tried the system boot fixer thing many times to no success.

However for some random reason i managed to get in once but I don't no why, but after 15 mins it just froze again and I had to manually shut it down.

Any ideas would be very well apreciated.

    Many, Many Thanks
    Josh

Trying booting in safe mode. If it boots, shut down and boot again in normal mode. It sometimes works especially when you have not made any software or hardware changes!

Insert your windows vista disk if you have one or anytime upgrade disk, and click on repair when it boots up. This often fixes the problem.
