Is there anyway that I could use the Dell.com coupons at Dell.ca? Also is there a way I could get those deals if I talked to a Sales Rep on the phone? Has anyone ever got a Canada Sales Rep to do something like this?

Nope.... there is no chance of it happening. So on top of the sales tax us canucks have to pay(which i have no problem with...) we ALSO have to pay a higher sticker price, even though our loonie is worth more... AND we dont get any good coupons.

If you found a really good coupon, and are saving a sizable amount by shopping at dell.com, you might want to look at renting a mailbox in america, having it mailed there, then mailing it from there, to your home(as a gift). Avoid duties, tax's, and only have to pay an extra ~$40 on the 2end shipping.

It sucks dell thinks so little of canadians, that they force us to jump through all these hoops to get a comparable deal they offer to the yanks.

Its not like it costs dell more to sell to canadians. All these things are made in china, and shipped to america prior to coming into canada... I could understand an extra $20 charge for shipping, but nothing more beyond that. Instead, like i said before, we are paying more, getting less deals, and treated like fools. Id shop at HP.ca, or IBM.ca if they also wernt pulling the same trick.

Ya that really sucks, they got some crazy deals at Dell.com. Well I guess ill see what I can do on the phone with a Sales Rep and if I can't get a good price ill try that mailbox thing.

Welcome to being a consumer. If you don't like the price that Dell is offering in Canada....don't buy! Simple as that!
