I always use my brightness at full level even on battery so will it wear out my backlight quickly and will need replacement or should i set it to a lower setting, thanks

Yes. A brighter screen wears out faster.

I have never heard this. I have had my screen at bright max for about 6 months and it is still the same and very bright

You can only notice when you put your laptop next to another one! not just by simply looking at, its coming round to nearly a year for me having my laptop! And the screen is already showing signs of aging, when i was out to my pc outlet, where i bought my notebook from, well i was currently sorting out battery problems as it stays charged for about an hour and ive only had it for not even a year.
Went over to the counter where they were still selling my notebook, put mine beside it, my screen was noticeably dimmer, doesn’t reli seem that way when its by itself just when next to another notebook, both notebooks were at the same brightness to! This will be down to the amount i use the notebook, its on every day at full brightness, i don’t think it can handle it!
Its quite alarming how these things can detiorate over very little time, this is one of the reasons why people make such a fuss over led backlights.
