    Hey all!

I decided to download I8kfan and run it on my XPS M1330 and I was wondering what temperatures are other folks getting on this?

    Thanks in advance,
    Martin

I appologise, I did run the search but did not find a relevant topic. Perhaps you could tell me yours? Is it too hot when just browsing the web makes it go around 50?

    Hey!

Thanks Achilles for that information. I corrected the values.
It's funny mine doesn't measure the HDD temp.
My CPU is around 40/45, GPU around 51 and still the first fan keeps working around 3000 RPM.

Guys there is a new Beta of RMClock that lets you undervolt your cpu. Example I lock my notebook at the 8 multi on battery and 9 multi when I am on AC not gaming using .90 volts for the 8 multi and .95 volts using the 9 multi. My fan rarely ever kicks in now and when it does, its so low, you can barely hear it. Every 1330 user should use this program. Keeps the notebook cooler, keeps the Fan's RPM's down, and best of all saves you battery life.

Max load 100% CPU, 100% GPU, ambient temp 30 degrees C.

    CPU : 69 degrees C
    GPU : 85 degrees C

    Fans on full (5300rpm)

    yep, it runs hot.

30C is pretty warm... my temps are almost identical - and that's with a modest ambient temp of 22C...!
Actually, your temps are reasonable considering your working in 30C! what are your idle temps, btw? My cpus idle around 40C and my GPU's at 62C. This is with the 6-cell in place; it will run a few deg. cooler with the 9-cell...

It's still winter here (EU)... I hope it's gonna survive the Summer, lol :p
