    Using a Inspiron 9300 WUXGA on a 9400

    Is it possible to swap a WUXGA from a Inspiron 9300 to a Inspiron 9400 that currently has a WXGA,and is it possible to use the WXGA from the 9400 with the 9300?

    the inverters might be different. i read somewhere of a similar attempt and it did not work due to the inverter, but screen swaps between the exact same model was fine, as long as it was just the resolution change. but the inverter, i couldn't be sure.

    if you could test it out first of course...
