The Notebook Review forums were hosted by TechTarget, who shut down them down on January 31, 2022. This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     I saw Dell put up an update for Seagate drives on their support site, so I've downloaded it... but theres no details on how to actually use it. It includes an seagate untility.iso, a windows batch file, an .LOD file and a application file.

    Running the batch file or the application open DOS windows but then they close again seemingly without doing anything... help!
