    Hi,
Just bought a TV with VGA input but the VGA output on my Inspiron 6400 does not work - I've got a warranty on it but Dell says my tag isn't recognised - maybe this is because I had an accident with it and all the insides were renewed. So, is there anything I can do to check what's wrong with my VGA socket (By the way I tried a VGA connection to the TV with another laptop and it works perfectly) without spending days trying to get through to Dell?
Another thing - can anyone tell me why, when I connect my other computer to the widescreen TV I can only get a small TV picture - it won't expand proportionally to fill the screen - it seems stuck in the shapew of my computer screen.
    Hope all this makes sense!
    Many thanks
    Brendan
