    Hi!

I just ordered my Vostro 1500 yesterday, and today I find out that it does not have DVI out. I'm going to hook the vostro up to a lcd display, so I guess I'll have to use VGA as I couldn't find any docking stations for it either.

So my question is, is the display going to look crap using vga on the lcd?

Has anyone tried this with the Vostro 1500 or equivalent?

VGA will look exactly the same. And if you somehow come across a display that has no VGA and only DVI, you can pick up a VGA/DVI adapter for about $5 on monoprice.com.

Great news, guess I won't bother canceling for a laptop with DVI then.

    Thanks for that quick reply.
