    1) Does this mean im in production
    2) Why does my online order status say im still in pre production (i received this 2 days ago)?
    3) How long does the production phase usually take?

    wow glad i didnt order a 1720 then.. sorry man... sometimes it takes up to 24-48 hrs for the web site and the phone status thing to be changed so its possible it could have started production..

    i dont think there are many Vostro 1700 (or inspirons 1720) out of the doors in Europa, i am waiting almost 2 months now

    As long as it's not in "shipping" or "packaging" stage, you're f______, I've been in "Production" ever since I ordered on the 23rd of July.
