I am trying to get help with this tablet. I am lost for words after reading piles of comments on this device and not being too much of a techie I'm not quite sure where to turn.
Bought this for my wife for Xmas couple of years back and she lost interest in this really slow and buggy tablet and ended up in her bottom draw.

I dragged it out and have been playing with it and cant believe how slow and now have lost the keyboard only getting the voice option. I've been to settings and have unchecked the Google Voice Typing but the Dell Cast Keyboard option is greyed out. I am ready to toss it as now I cant type a ID and password to get it on-line. Suggestions please.....

As a note some have mentioned thatwhen Dell went to 4.4.4 was one of the big problems and wondering if it possible to downgrade to 4.4.2? I've heard that the predecessor to this model worked extremely well using 4.4.2.

The best place to get information like this is xda developers. They should have some information. Might also have ideas and tricks to speed up the device.
