I broke one of the keys on my keyboard and I called up dell I have a new keyboard on its way to me for free!

He also asked if everything else was fine like the rubber stoppers and everything. So far everything is good :) I got my warranty until 2009 so I'm set!

    Very happy!

Dell is pretty good that way.

I've been having some problems lately with my m1210 which I use at work. So far I've replaced the Mainboard, CPU fan, Heatpipe, Hard Drive and CPU. New memory should be coming tomorrow and if that doesn't solve the problem, they're going to replace the entire system.

I've had impeccable service like this from Dell for not only my laptop at work, but several others that I support. Users break a key off, they end up with a new keyboard. Clips on plastic bezels get broken, Dell sends a replacement.

Until I have a complete nightmare when getting support, I will continue to recommend and purchase Dell products for both work and personal use!! :)

Dell has bad reps due to the past and because their customer support team needs to learn English. But the actual dell policy's are pretty darn good!

I mean heck you can't find ANY manufacturer that offers a 8600M GT for sub $1000 !

Sadly that is a tradeoff when out-sourcing customer service.

I'm thankful I've gone with XPS notebooks which gives me English speaking support.

    That's a subjective question.

My partner spilled a cup of coffee on his old laptop......therefore when we ordered him a new Dell, Complete Care was a must.

When I ordered my m1330, I got CC as a safety blanket. I've never had an accident with a laptop, however now that I've said that, it could happen tomorrow.

Some people will swear up and down that Complete Care is a waste. Of course it's only a waste until they need it and it's not there! ;)

If you can afford it, get it and know that you're covered!
