    Very very weird estimated ship date

    So when I ordered my laptop this weekend february 5, it said (and still says) my EDD is february 24. However, if I try to purchase the SAME laptop today, it says EDD february 22.

    How it that possible or are they going to update my EDD or something.. that's very weird????

    Sometimes dell screws up its EDD on its website. In your case it may be that your laptop will be shipped by Feb 22, however they haven't yet updated your personal EDD.

    I had an instance where I had my lappy ship out two days before EDD and it never got updated until the morning of delivery.

    does EDD means when it's gonna be shipped from Dell or it means when it's gonna be delivered at my house?

    I ordered my laptop on Jan 22, the first EDD dell showed was 17th Feb, then on 5th Feb it showed as Manufacturing Build Complete, and new EDD showed as 14th Feb, but I received it on 9th Feb.

    EDD is just an estimated date by which you suppose to have the system with you, you get the delivery normally much earlier than what they estimate.
