    if it wasn't for the Internet Download Manager and google talk to boot on startup, i think it'll be faster.

    just over a minute to boot and ready to post.

    don't mind the background... it was Nat Geo doing a special on something special to some of us :p

    Funny you posted this because I just timed mine at exactly 1 minute and was looking for ways to cut it down.

    i would first get NOD32. it's got a small footprint so the boot time is definitely shorter. don't let google talk boot on startup. other then that, there really is nothing left for me besides IDM which, if you do as much grabbing stuff left and right (and vids w.o registering), it's invaluable.

    i think i might document another boot time now that i cut out the IDT audio drivers; not sure if booting vista's own drivers might shave off.... 2 seconds? dunno.

    But you have LED on your power supply, and I don't have on mine :(
