Recently my 7900 burned out in my E1705, so I bought a FX2500 to replace it. I also bought a PA-13 cord to go with it. Each item bought seperate, and shipped seperate.

My question is, could I install the video card with the brick that came with my E1705 and use that until my PA-13 comes? Im not talking gaming or anyhting hard core, just to get the system running.

Yup, system may run in low power mode until you get the PA-13 though. I use a 65 watt PA-12 adapter for my Precision M4300 when I travel - it is supposed to use a 90 watt PA-10 and warns me that the wattage is too low with the PA-12, but the processor still seems to run at full speed whenever I check and I haven't noticed any more power throttling than normal.

Yes you can, but the card won't run like it's supposed to, or may just shut down in games.
