Hey, can anyone give me a guide or tell me the settings for me to set up my display on my Vostro 1500? I have the NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT card and i want optimal screen quality for DVD movies, games and the such. Right now, it looks kind of bland, especially the color in DVD movies.

    Thanks

    milellie111,

One thing, check if they have the same updated vid driver for your NVIDIA GeForce 8600GT. One is available for my 1720 that is dated 3-18-08 and I imagine you would have the same one available for DL. I had a problem that was fixed with the latest driver where settings like the one chelet talks about, Digital Vibrance, would not come back after hibernate or sleep.. only a reboot.
