    Video Input into a Laptop?

    I had a quick question. It's gonna be another 2 months until I can afford my new Dell 42" Plasma TV, however I was wondering if I could input my Xbox 360 through the VGA hookup into my Laptop (IS THIS EVEN POSSIBLE) Sorry Off the top of my head I think it is output only but I figured you guys would be able to give me a definate answer.

    I moved out from my Roomates house and he had the 57" HDTV, dont' think I can stand going back to a Normal Screen 20 " TV :D I WANT WIDESCREEN

    I haven't seen any notebooks with video in. You can get a external tv tuner though and hook it up via that.

    yea, you'd have to get an external TV tuner and plug it into your USB.

    In my desktop I have a PCI TV Tuner but it doesn't have the Red and White audio RCA inputs, so I had to search high and low for an adapter that I eventually found. Female RCA red and white to male 3.5mm Audio Jack.

    Keep in mind there may be a significant time delay between the display on the screen and inputs from your console or whatever you connect to the TV tuner device. Usually this is around a few milliseconds but quite noticeable.

    Yup but theres a program called Dscaler that you can get and it will rid you of the lag.

    Are you 100% sure about this? I got that same advice on Dells official forum for using the Dell Angel TV tuner USB, saying it "might" work to remove the lag in controller to viewscreen response.

    I would hope it works as I wanna take my consoles with me and use it on my laptop instead of a TV. Much better pictures.

    Any guides for dscaler out there or so?

    I have the Angel Emuzed (The One that you can add with the E1705) ANyways, I have hooked up the 360, now do I just do this through Media Center? or is there some other way?

    Media center lets you stream music and so to the 360 itself to use.

    Video input, you use the angel and set it up to read the AV signal the 360 gives.. which means it will be lagged.. so I need to know about dscaler myself.

    How do you set anything up with the Angel (As far as I know there is no place to adjust settings with the Angel USB tuner)

    In Media Center XP. You have to goto Settings and then TV Control before its enabled I think it was, Also if you want AV signal.. you have to lie and say your using a sat type of connection. Doesnt seem to plainly allow "AV Input"
