    I purchased a 2021 XPS 7390 2-in-1 from Amazon warehouse as like-new renewed condition.

It was fine until 8 days in, suddenly one of the fan made a loud clunky noise so turned it off. BIOS at reboot showed "Video fan failure" error. I opened the back and checked that the two fans are working without a problem on different fan speeds.

I reset the BIOS and clean installed, cleaned any dust or debris, and now the error is gone.

The warranty was already expired months before the purchase from Amazon.

Should I be concerned? or does the video fan error show up sometimes?

    Thanks.

I have occasional video fan errors on boot with my Alienware m15. The fan is fine. Sounds like a Dell BIOS thing.
