This may be a stupid question but I am new to laptops.
I have my 1525 set up to run scans on certain days & times. Must the laptop be open (screen up) for the scan to happen ?
    THANKS

It depends how you have the computer setup. If you have it set to go to sleep or standby when you close the lid, then yes, the laptop screen must be open.

If you have it set to "do nothing" when you close the lid, then no, the lid does not have to be open.

You must have the laptop on for the scheduled scan to proceed. Set it at times you normally use your laptop.
