Yeah so I uploaded about 150 pictures in jpeg format from my cell phone to the laptop today... since then even after restarting the computer my explorer uses 100% cpu when it comes to opening up the picture folder that contains all these image files.

I noticed that the image thumbnails are not displaying correctly, some of them show, while the others dont. even if i refresh it does not populate the thumbnails correctly.

I went to process explorer and noticed that NTDLL.DLL DECODER blah blah is using 100% cpu power and I am guessing that vista is trying to put up all the thumbnails but using a ton of cpu in the process and not getting it done.

I was considering turning off indexing to see if that helps.... anyone run into this issue when working with picture files?
