    Hello everybody I would like to know if I can upgrade vista home premium 32 upgrade to windows 7 professional. I bought Windows 7 Professional upgrade through my schools student program, and I would like to know the proper way to install windows 7. Thanks!

    you cant go from 32 bit to 64 bit without doing a clean install

    you can upgrade to 64 bit, and I would to increase how much ram you can use in the future.

    There is a known issue with the student download of the 64 bit Windows 7. You'll need to order the disc to perform the upgrade or create you own iso file and burn a disc. A little googleing and I was able to do it without too much trouble.

    I have a E1505.

    Yes I created the ISO, it took sometime but I was able to do it!
