Has anyone tried it? Any driver problems, or anything like that?

Just finished the ISO, but am not yet 100% positive on installing it.

    I have T2400 and X1400, Intel Wi-Fi and BT, 2GB of RAM.

Also, does anyone know...if I upgrade from XP Pro do I have to burn the ISO to a DVD or will mounting do? In addition, anyone have upgrade experience? Is it reliable?

    Thanks.

    I tried it.

Video driver doesnt work, Wireless doesnt work and you can't install the chipset.

I uninstalled it, it just sucks not to be able to see the Aero interface. If you can get it set up without problems tell me please

Friend of mine gave me the cd.

Oh and another thing, unless you get the developer license you will only be able to use it for 14 days, unless you find some kind of activation crack

Did you activate your copy when you tried it? Supposedly Aero is disabled unless it's a properly licensed and activated copy:

Yeah i activated it through a cd-key my friend gave me. Of course he doesnt have the developer key so it works for 14 days.

It was Beta 2. You're wasting your time if you're downloading it through torrent.

I have it, and have installed it on my XPS M1710. Everything is working...sort of. There is no driver for the 7900GTX, but the included support for the 7800GTX seems to work if I force the driver. Everything in device manager has a driver and is installed and working! The only problems (so far) are:

    1) There are no SATA drivers included in Vista Beta 2, so my 100GB SATA drive is operating using a slow ATA IDE driver.

    2) The Intel 3945ABG wireless adapter works, but occasionally fizzles out.

The AERO interface is working fine (I think). I have the transparency look, and can flip the desktop into 3D mode, so I assume I have AERO.

Vista looks, in a word, AWESOME. If for nothing else than the new look, it's worth upgrading. XP was nice, but it's getting stale, and the new look of Vista is welcomed.

Now, I just need some Intel SATA drivers... :(

You can try to register here:

    http://www.microsoft.com/betaexperience/enus/register.aspx

When it's available, you'll get an email with a link where you can download it. Right now it is only available to those with a MSDN subscription or TechNet subscription. I'm sure it's available on various torrent sites, but as stated above, you'd be wasting your time...unless you don't mind downloading for 3 or 4 days.
