I'm very close to purchasing a Latitude D630 (in the UK). I've noticed that the deftault configuration comes with 3 year "Vista Business Support". I can save £61 if I get rid of this option.

Can someone tell me what it is? (it doesn't seem to be explained on the Dell website)

I can fix most software problems myself. So, the only time I would need to call Dell technical support would be for a hardware failure - which is presumably covered by the warranty rather than "Vista Business Support".

Also, the default configuration comes with 3-year accidental damage cover (which I can save £109 if I get rid of it). How 'complete' is this coverage? Anything I should know? Is it worth having?

I cannot comment on what the Vista Business Support is because I've never heard of it.

As for the Complete Care warranty, I highly recommend it because laptops are portable and accidents do happen. The complete care warranty covers any accidental damage to your notebook i.e. spilling wine on notebook, dropping notebook onto cement, backing up onto it with your car, anything.
