so I downloaded Dreamscene for me m1530 w/8600 gt video card and rebooted but when I click on desktop background I dont see anything that has to do wit Dreamscene. Is there something else you have to do?

well after looking for answers on the web I found out you have to download the dreamscene "content" pack from windows update. My only problem is - that update isnt there. I further read that if you have SP1 installed you have to uninstall it to get it to work, is this true? I have updated all of my drivers so that isnt the issue.

Huh? I'm almost sure my Dreamscenes still worked after installing SP1 on my M1330. But I've sent the laptop back so can't check now.
Make sure you aren't looking at threads like this

which were made last year, before SP1 officially came out.
Have you seen this?

Well after I chatted with MS today they determined that I need a "WDDM driver" for my 8600GT video card. The only problem is that on Dell's site it doesnt list one for my service tag, it just lists a 8600m driver, what the heck. Can someone help me out here?
