I was about to place my order when antoher question popped into my head. So right now for prcoessor it says FREE Upgrade to Genuine Vista Windows Home Premium with 1GB of memory. I noticed it says "with 1 GB of memory". If I get that and get to the Memory section of building my Dell and I choose 1 GB ram...does that giv me 2 GB, which is reccomended for Vista. Or will I need to choose the 2GB ram from the Memory section if I want 2 GB? Thanks

You will have to select the full 2 GB from the configuration page. Windows Vista has a recommened RAM amount of 1 GB, but with more and more programs using more and more memory, it is always a good idea to get some more than the basic minimum.

Yeah I thought the same exact thing with Dell! I called up and they said it doesn't mean that you get 2 .. you have to select 2 GB in the correct page.
