I am ordering a Dell Vostro 1500 from the Dell website and the options are:
- Genuine Windows Vista® Home Basic [Included in Price]
-Genuine Windows Vista® Home Basic + Belkin Easy Transfer Cable [add $39]
-Genuine Windows Vista® Business [add $99]
-Genuine Windows Vista® Business + Belkin Easy Transfer Cable [add $138]
- Genuine Windows Vista® Ultimate [add $199]
- Genuine Windows Vista® Ultimate + Belkin Easy Transfer Cable [add $238]
however i do not want to pay $199 for Ultimate but I would like Premium (for the Aero interface), do you think there is any way for me to somehow get Vista Premium in this package?

if you call you can add it for $29...I tried to add it but because of the business hours I couldn't get it changed before it shipped and they want me to cancel and re-order and will charge me $159 to ship it after the fact. My suggestion is to call in and order it as part of the order!

Thanks a lot I did not know!!!

ya i ordered on a thurs and didn't realize until later that i wanted premium and then they were closed all weekend but my order was built and testing so i didn't wanna cancel so I'm going to try really hard and whine til I get the upgrade for $30
or like $50 i dont care i'm willing to pay just not $159

you have to make the order by phone if you want Vista Premium, because it's not an option on the web.

why doesn't anybody point out the obvious?
Vista Business has the Aero interface ( http://www.microsoft.com/windows/products/windowsvista/editions/business/default.mspx)
states so in the "Easier" tab
