    FYI-
I received my new Dell m1730 laptop last month. It came with Trend-Micro Internet Security 14 preinstalled. I installed Vista SP1 and after installation began to have frequent lockups and crashes or sudden runs where without any background apps running the processor would peg 100% usage and memory use would go up and the hard drive would thrash.
Turns out SP1 breaks the Trend Micro antivirus software.
They have patched versions on their web site to correct the problem.
I uninstalled the software ( version 14.60.1195 ) and downloaded and installed the new version (14.60.1198) and problem fixed!
