    Vista SP1 install always fails.....error code 80072F78

    everytime I try and install Vista SP1 on my m1530 it fails, error code 80072F78! anyone know what to do to fix this?

    You might try disabling unnecessary programs/services, and any anti-virus program you may have, also redownloading SP1 and give that a try. :)

    But if all else fails, you always have Dell's XPS support. :p

    well it finally installed but my video card is messing up now, I went to the Nvidia site and downloaded the current driver for my 8600 but the install failed. i am going to try the Dell driver and see if that works. Has anyone else had this issue?

    well I downloaded the video card driver from Dell and everything appears fine now, I think I may have downloaded the wrong driver from Nvidia. Thanks for the help
