i'm about to order M1530 and wondered if u
have any thoughts about going w/Vista Ultimate vs. the home edition?

Vista Ultimate costs more (I know) but is it worth it?

    thank you.

This comparison chart shows you what you get in Vista Ultimate vs. Vista Home Premium:

Essentially Vista Ultimate gives you everything from Vista Home Premium along with the features from Vista Business. You should probably look at these features and decide whether you want or need them. If you don't, Vista Home Premium should be more than fine.

I use Remote Desktop on my m1330 so Vista Ultimate was a must.

Only reason I got Ultimate was the disk image restore.
