    I have an Inspiron 6400 with T7200 @ 2GHz, 1Gb DDR2, 120Gb, X1400...
In Vista the text is blurred with or without Clear type enabled. I have tried the last driver for my video card and the drivers from Dell site for all the others components.
    Any ideas?

1280x800? Anything other than 1680x1050 looks terrible on my 1505. My 1505 came with 120 DPI set from the factory for some reason. Like mtor said, check your DPI too.

If you have the x1400 and the E1505 you should have that option in settings...1280x800 isn't listed in my available resolutions.

    1680x1050
    1400x1050
    1280x1024
    1280x768
    1280x720
    1152x864

    ...weird
