I bought a "Windows Vista Capable" Inspiron 6400 in December. Unfortunately, I can only get a free upgrade to Windows Vista Home Basic. Does anybody know if I can get a discount on Home Premium or something?

Would Home Premium even work well with my computer? I have 1GB of memory, a Core Duo processor (2x T2050 @ 1.60GHz), and ATI Mobility Radeon X1400 video card.

Does Microsoft Office XP work on Vista? What about Photoshop CS2, Adobe Illustrator CS, and the Macromedia MX suite?
