    Hello all..
    I was wondering if switching to XP in XPS 1530 is a good idea or not? I wish if you all post your ideas.. and a guide if someone wants to switch to XP because as far as I know.. It's not XP supported
    While Iam sure that XP is better.. I dunno about not being able to play games in directx10 mode.. and does vista actually reduce GAMES performance?
    post all of your ideas about this subject.. as I wish for this thread to be a guide for XPS 1530 users, to benefit us all.. much appreciated guys ^^ thanks in advance

    depends on the game
    there are no drivers from dell, but: 1. you may use some drivers of the m1330 od 2. you may look for all of them yourself 3. you use one of the guides already available (just use google and/or look through the known boards)
    you won't miss DX10 since you won't have fun with DX10 in combination with the 8600m gt. it supports it.. yea.. but that's all. it's not really good at it

    I'm going with XP the moment I get mine. This thread is 50% dedicated to installing XP on the M1530 including links to the drivers.
